i know you aren’t writing a sequel, but how are Artemisia and the revenant interacting after the end of Vespertine? still squabbling?
(also they are quite possibly my favorite character relationship, you write them soo well)
Thank you, that truly means a lot to me. They’re still squabbling and also having lots of sweet and poignant interactions like,
Revenant: Nun, can I borrow your arms for a second?
Artemisia: Sure.
After a long, fraught silence…
Artemisia: What are you doing?
Revenant: I’m hugging you, you vile and loathsome meat sack, what do you think I’m doing?
Artemisia: Ok. That’s weird. You can stop now.
